Things We Love: Baby Papasan Swing

This cradle swing is a real sanity-saver.

The stories say that one of the few places I would sleep as a baby was in my wind-up swing. Grandpa would fall asleep in the easy chair while watching the White Sox with me swinging beside him. My swing would wind down, I'd wake up and cry, wake Grandpa up, he'd wind up the swing again, and we'd repeat the cycle.

So it was natural for my parents to give us this swing for Conner. It's a key item in our bag of tricks when he gets fussy.
